St. John the Baptist Parish is a lively bi-cultural Catholic parish founded in 1852 in the heart of Joliet, Illinois. Together, people of all ages pray, learn and grow as we work together to make the inner-city Joliet community a better place by serving the poor and standing up for the rights of immigrants. The parish is staffed by the Franciscan Friars of the Sacred Heart Province, whose postulants live and study at St. John's. We invite you and your family to learn more and to become a part of our community as we live the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the modern world in the Franciscan tradition. All are welcome! La Parroquia de San Juan Bautista es una parroquia católica bi-cultural, fundada en 1852 en el centro de Joliet, Illinois. En conjunto, la gente de todas las edades rezamos, aprendemos y crecemos a medida que trabajamos juntos para hacer de la comunidad del centro de la ciudad de Joliet un lugar mejor, que sirve a los pobres y defiende los derechos de los inmigrantes. La parroquia es atendida por los Frailes Franciscanos de la Provincia del Sagrado Corazón, cuyos postulantes viven y estudian en San Juan. Invitamos a usted y a su familia para aprender más y para formar parte de nuestra comunidad, ya que vivimos el mensaje del Evangelio de Jesucristo en el mundo moderno dentro la tradición Franciscana. ¡Todos son bienvenidos!

Thank you to the following businesses for their generous donations for our top sellers and our seller raffle. These include Giordano's Pizza, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Pizza For U, Culver's, Al's Steak House, Aurelios Pizza, Home Cut Donuts,and Cherry Hill Cafe. Please show them your support! A special thank you to our top 3 sellers! We really appreciate their hard work!
